
Should I choose the 6 week or 3 week Challenges?
Most people start out with the 6 week BURN Challenge course. As they have completed usually at least two, they then progress to our BURN Level II, or our SHRED course for a 6 week Challenge. If you only have 3 weeks to train, instead of 6 and would like to focus specifically on one aspect of your personal fitness, then our 3 week CALORIE BUSTER or BASE BUILDER is for you. Our CALORIE BUSTER 3 week challenge course course is high intensity Cardio. and will push you to the limits. Our BASE BUILDER 3 week challenge course focuses on building overall body strength hitting all the major muscle groups. Our BURN EXPRESS is a popular 3 week Challenge that is perfect for BURNERS who would like to maintain, or individuals who want a little taste of everything. All courses work your CORE and FLEXIBILITY.
What are the BURN Challenge workouts like?
The first 3 weeks are spent building a solid foundation working all the major muscle groups, ensuring a strong and stable core! The next 3 weeks utilize the foundation that was already built and adds more movement and calorie burning power cardio sets in. Every session is different from the last designed for muscle confusion which aids in optimal physical fitness results. We fuse a unique combination of sports and interval training; martial arts; yoga; and unique Urban Jungle exercises.
Can I start an Urban Jungle Challenge course in the middle of a session?
Our Urban Jungle Challenge courses are designed for results. Within each course there is a progression that individuals work towards and this progression is vital for optimal results. Giving a set start and end date provides the framework and structure to achieve those results. Therefore, individuals can only start a course at the beginning of a particular course, and not part way through it. If you miss the start date of the last course, just call in to reserve a spot for the next session.
How and when do I pay for my course?
Payments are due 1 week before your course begins. Payments can be made either via Check, Money Order, Cash, or Credit Card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. To make it easy, if paying by credit card, all you need to do is scroll down on the specific challenge or item page you are looking at and click the "Buy Now" button.
What if I miss a class?
For sessions that fall on Holiday’s or are cancelled due to weather (if course is in park), you will be placed on a make-up list which can be scheduled with your instructor. Last minute cancellations (less than 6 hour notice) due to personal reasons will not be re-scheduled, please plan accordingly.
What do I bring to my Challenge Course?
We recommend the following gear:
- Towel
- Yoga Mat
- Water
- Good Shoes
- Heart Rate Monitor (optional)
I really enjoy the Urban Jungle challenge course I am in, what do I do at the end of my course?
Most participates end up continuing with the next challenge course after theirs is complete, pushing themselves even harder reaching their next fitness level. One of the great things about our Urban Jungle Challenge courses are the different workouts offered each session and the course size being only 10...giving our instructors the opportunity to modify and pay special one on one attention to everyone.
